Privacy statement
You tell this coach things you would not put in a pitch deck. That only works if you know where those words go. This page says exactly that — what we keep, who else sees it, and what you can do about it.
The short version. We keep your account details, your coaching conversations, what the coach has learned about you, and how much you use the service. Your conversations are sent to our AI provider to generate answers and are not used to train their models. Our own staff do not read your conversations. You can see everything the coach remembers about you, and delete it, from inside the app. If you reach the coach through a school, a teacher there sees your work and not your conversation; the section on institutions says exactly what that means.
1. Who is responsible
Blekman Consultancy B.V., established in the Netherlands, is the controller for the personal data described here. Chamber of Commerce number 30193942. Our contact details are on the contact page; write to us there about anything to do with your data.
2. What we keep, and why
| What | Why | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Account Name, email address, the identifier from your login provider, your role |
To give you an account and let you sign in | Performance of the contract |
| Invoice details First name, last name, street and house number, postcode, city and country. Your mobile number is offered and never required. |
To produce an invoice that meets the requirements. Asked for when you pay, and not before. | Performance of the contract, and for keeping them a legal obligation (the seven-year tax retention period) |
| Your coaching conversations The questions you ask and the answers you get, per idea |
So the coach can follow the thread instead of starting over each time | Performance of the contract |
| Documents you share The text of a file you hand the coach (a pitch deck, a plan, interview notes), a short digest of it, its name and size. For a screenshot or photo we keep what our AI provider read in it, not the image. The file itself is not kept: we read the text out of it and discard it. |
So the coach can work with what you show it, in this idea only | Performance of the contract |
| Your Genius Code If you open a Genius Code session: the words you choose for your characteristics, values and triggers, your two archetypes, how you rank them, and your commitment. Yours, in your words; a profile you build, not a test we run. Once you confirm it, the coach may read it in your other ideas. |
So the coach can hold up the mirror you built, when it helps | Performance of the contract |
| What the coach remembers How you work, what drives you, the means you have; and per idea what it is, its phase and decisions taken |
So advice fits you and your venture rather than being generic | Performance of the contract |
| Usage Number of messages per day and the tokens they used |
To keep the fair-use limit, and to know what the service costs to run | Performance of the contract, and our legitimate interest in a sustainable service |
| Payments Amount, plan, status and the payment provider's reference |
To give you access, and for our bookkeeping | Performance of the contract, and a legal obligation (tax administration) |
We never see your card or bank details. Those go straight to our payment provider; we only receive whether a payment succeeded.
3. Who else sees it
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising. We use these processors:
- Our AI providers (Anthropic, and Anthropic's models on AWS Bedrock). Your messages, the relevant memory and the text of documents you share are sent to one of them to generate each answer and to digest each document. Most answers come from Amazon Web Services' Bedrock service in Frankfurt, which runs Anthropic's models inside the EU; answers that need a live web search come from Anthropic directly, which involves a transfer outside the EU covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Under both providers' terms for business customers, your content is not used to train their models — our accounts are under their commercial terms, which say so.
- Our monitoring provider (Vigil). Every request we send to Anthropic directly passes through them, so we can see what the coach costs and how it performs. That means the content of those conversations passes through them too. They process it to route and measure the request; they are not an audience for it, and we do not use them to read your conversations. Requests to AWS Bedrock do not pass through them.
- Our payment provider (Mollie). Handles the payment itself and holds your payment details; we do not. For a running subscription Mollie also keeps the mandate from your first payment, so the next period can be charged; we store only Mollie's reference to it, and we revoke it when your subscription ends.
- Our identity provider. Handles signing in and holds your credentials, so that we never do.
- Our hosting provider (Fluxzero). Runs the servers and the event store your data sits on.
Our domain name is registered with MijnDomein. They handle the registration only and hold no personal data from your use of the service.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it. If that ever happens we will tell you, unless we are legally barred from doing so.
4. What our own people can see
Administration sees counts, never conversations. Our admin screens show that an account has, say, three ideas and sent forty messages today. They do not show what is in them. This is enforced in the software itself, not by a promise: the data behind those screens does not contain your content.
One thing is counted rather than read: if a message looks like an attempt to get the coach to reproduce its own instructions, we note that it happened and what kind of request it was, so we can see the same person doing it repeatedly. The message itself is not kept — the admin screen shows a count and a category, never a sentence you wrote.
The exceptions are narrow: if you ask us for help with something specific, or if we are legally compelled. We will tell you when it happens.
If you use the coach through a school or an employer
Some people reach this coach through an institution that bought it for them. If your idea is filed under one, three things are true, and they are enforced in the software rather than promised in this paragraph.
- A teacher at that institution sees your work. The name of your idea, the phase it is in, your canvases and your progress. That is what supervision is for and what you are being taught with.
- A teacher does not see your conversation. Not a summary, not a sample, not one exchange. What you type to the coach, and what it answers, is handed to them with that part removed. It is also read-only: a teacher cannot coach in your conversation, and cannot change a word in your canvases.
- Whoever administers the institution's account sees neither. Arranging memberships and contracts is administration, and administration is not reading.
An idea of your own, started outside a course, belongs to no institution at all: no teacher, no class list, nothing. That is not a setting you have to find, it is what an idea without an institution is.
5. How long we keep it
- While you have an account: your ideas, conversations, shared documents and memory stay, so the coach can keep following your thread. A document goes the moment you remove it, or with the idea it was shared in.
- Archived ideas: kept until you delete them, so you can bring them back.
- After you delete your account: conversations and memory are removed within 30 days, and your login is removed at our identity provider.
- Payment and invoice records: kept for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it. This is the one thing we cannot delete on request.
- Usage counts: kept in aggregate, without conversation content.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- See what we hold about you, and get a copy;
- Correct anything that is wrong;
- Delete your data — for the coach's memory you can do this yourself, in the app, under "What the coach remembers";
- Take it with you in a portable format;
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interest, or ask us to restrict it.
Write to us and we will answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
7. A word about what you type
The coach works better the more concrete you are, and we would rather you were careful than sorry: do not paste other people's personal data into a conversation — customer lists, employee details, someone's medical or financial situation — unless you have a basis to share it. You do not need any of that to get good coaching, and it is your responsibility if it ends up there.
8. Cookies
We use one cookie: the one that keeps you signed in. It is necessary for the service to work, so it needs no consent, and it is not used to track you. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
9. Security
Your data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is limited to people who need it, and the admin screens are built so that your conversations are not among the things they can reach. If a data breach ever affects your rights, we will notify you and the supervisory authority as the law requires.
10. Changes
If we change this statement in a way that matters to you, we will tell you before it takes effect. The version and date are at the top of this page.
